Gayann has been involved in theate for over thirty years. She was a professional dancer in her youth and has directed Senior Citizen performing groups for many years. Gayann served Fayette Community Theatre as Assistant Director for eleven years and presently is a founding Board Member of Fayette-Coweta Family Theatre, Inc. She is a published playwright who has seen several of her children's works presented nation wide. Her production of "Pinocchio" has been seen by well over 20,000 children from coast to coast. FCFT and ACOF has presented numerous of her scripts including "Pinocchio," "The Princess and the Pea," "A Christmas Carol," "Charlotte's Web" and "Pocahontas." Mrs. Truelove has performed in and created numerous children's presentations both in Georgia and California. As a member of the FCFT Board of Directors Mrs. Truelove holds the office of Secretary. A former teacher, Gayann especially loves children and enjoys bringing the magic of theatre to them. Gayann was featured in ACOF's musical production of "The Jungle Book" as Kaa, the Python Snake, in "Wizard of Oz" as Glinda and in "A Little Bit of Magic" as the Storyteller. She was also seen as Mistress Mable in ACOF's "The Brementown Musicians." Gayann serves ACOF as their Playwright in Residence. Gayann appeared in ACOF's Mainstage Musical "The Velveteen Rabbit" in October, 2003 as The Nursery Magic Fairy. She will take on the role of The Queen in "Cinderella" in October, 2004. |
