Tammy Barton has been performing for over 30 years both here in Georgia and in California. She has appeared in over 100 productions nation wide. Upon graduation from High School she was honored with the "Bank of America Highest Achievment Award in The Fine Arts." As the former Artistic Director for Fayette Community Theatre, Inc. and the present Artistic Director/President of Fayette-Coweta Family Theatre, Inc. and Sharpsburg On Stage Mrs. Barton has directed over 100 productions. While working as a Special Education Teacher, in California, she developed a successful theatre program for the special needs student. Mrs. Barton is a founding member of A.C.T (All Christian Theatre) and a former Disney Cast Member. She attended Cerritos College where she majored in Theatre Arts. A produced playwright and children's theatre specialist, Mrs. Barton toured Southern California for five years with Cerritos College Children's Theatre, a large Fairytale Theatre Company. She is also a performing member with FCFT Professional Dinner Theatre Ensemble as was seen as Violet Burdock in "Man of The House" and with Sharpsburg On Stage as Mama in "Not My Cup of Tea" and Detective Swift in "Next Victim Please. She hopes that the young audiences that attend an ACOF performance will be inspired to use their creativity and imagination.
